昼食は今日も近くのドローカル食堂で食べるつもりだったんだけど、まさかのお休み、軽くショック❗️。
I had planned to have lunch today at a very nearby local diner, but it was unexpectedly closed, shocking me lightly❗️.
で、いつものローカルレストラン、さて何食べようか？。メニュー見てもサッパリ分からないので、適当にSuper Lugaw。
So, what should I eat at the usual local restaurant? I looked at the menu and couldn't understand a thing, so I decided to eat Super Lugaw.
Lugawってお粥だったのね。生姜がしっかりと効いて美味しいお粥❣️。superはいろいろ付いているという意味で、豚肉、厚揚げの煮込に生の玉ねぎとオクラが入ったおかず付き。なかなか美味しかったです。ただ、オクラだと思った緑色の野菜は唐辛子で、口の中が大火事に‼️。
Lugaw was porridge. The porridge is delicious with a strong ginger taste❣️. Super means with a lot of things, so it comes with stewed pork, thick fried tofu, raw onions and okura. It was quite tasty. However, the green vegetable that I thought was okura was a chili pepper, which caused a huge fire in my mouth‼️.
近くのモールの裏側(こっちが正面みたい)に行ってみたら、巨大なクリスマスツリーがあった❗️。
I went to the back of a nearby mall (this one looks like the front) and found a huge Christmas tree❗️.
今日午後からケソン記念公園に行ってきました。まずはジプニーで向かいます。方向的にはこっち方面なんだけど、ちゃんと行くか聞いてから乗車します。
I went to Quezon Memorial Park this afternoon. First, I took a jeepney to get there. The direction is in this direction, but I asked if it goes properly before boarding.
ジプニー、これに乗ること自体、既にアトラクションですね。
Jeepney, the ride itself is already an attraction.

独立記念塔です。
Independence Monument.
塔の下に独立記念博物館があり、独立国としての最初の大統領のお墓❓があります。
There is an Independence Museum and the tomb❓of the first president as an independent country under the tower.
広場では皆バトミントンをしていました。フィリピンってバトミントン強かったっけ？。
Everyone was playing badminton in the plaza. I don't remember the Philippines having a strong badminton team.
一昨日のレッスンでフィリピンの食べ物の話になり、タホと言う豆腐のデザートみたいなのが美味しいですよ、と教えてもらってました。このおじさんが「タホ」「タホ」って叫んでいたので、ああコレか！と買ってみました。
In the lesson the day before yesterday, we were talking about food in the Philippines, and I was told that taho, a kind of tofu dessert, is delicious. This man was shouting "taho" and "taho," so I thought, "Oh, this is it!. So I bought it.
フワフワの豆腐と透明のタピオカとチョットだけ甘いシロップが混ざっていて、確かに美味しかったです。
The mixture of fluffy tofu, clear tapioca and sweet syrup was indeed delicious.
このアーケード、LEDが散りばめてあって、日が暮れるとメッチャ綺麗なはずなんだけど、日暮までまだ2時間あるので帰ります。
This arcade is covered with LED lights and is supposed to be very beautiful at sunset, but I still have two hours before nightfall, so I am going home.
帰りもジプニー、やはり行き先を確認して乗車。往復で70円、安い‼️。
The return trip is also by jeepney, again, check the destination and get on the jeepney. 70 yen for a round trip, cheap‼️.
夕食はいつものローカルレストラン。店内に写真があったのでLOMIを注文しました。コレはラッキー。
Dinner was at the usual local restaurant. I ordered LOMI because I saw a picture of it in the restaurant. I was lucky.
写真とは違う感じだけどチョットカレー風味の煮込みウドン。美味しかった❣️。
It looks different from the picture, but it's stewed udon with a little curry flavor. It was delicious❣️.
