朝、良い天気です。学校前の路地、ドローカルな住宅街です。住宅街の出入り口にはセキュリティーが居るので、この中は危険な雰囲気はありません。昨日は簡単なオリエンテーションだけで、今日から授業開始です。
Morning, nice weather. The alley in front of the school, a local residential area. There are security guards at the entrances and exits of the residential area, so there is no dangerous atmosphere in this area. Yesterday was just a brief orientation, and today is the start of classes.
昨夜の晩ごはん、学校の給食みたい。味は不味くは無いけど、おいしくも無い。ギリ我慢出来る範囲内かな。
Last night's dinner, like school lunch. It tasted not bad, but not good either. I guess it's just within the range of what I can tolerate.
次は今朝の朝食、目玉焼きのプレート。味はまあまあ、量少なめで、ちょうど良い。
Next is this morning's breakfast, a plate of fried eggs. The taste is okay, the quantity is small, and it is just right for me.
昼食、慣れてきたのか、ちょっと美味しく感じるようになった。お米が長粒米だけど、炊き方が上手で日本米みたいで美味しい。
EBは滞在中3食付きでありがたい、しかも量も味付けもヘルシーな感じ。フィリピンのローカルフードは味付けが濃くて、脂っぽいので心配してだけど、なんとか快適に過ごせそうです。
Lunch, I guess I'm getting used to it and it tastes a little better. The rice is long grain, but it is cooked well and tastes like Japanese rice.
EB is thankful that three meals are included during my stay, and they are healthy in quantity and seasoning. I was worried about the local food in the Philippines because of its strong seasoning and fatty taste, but I think I will be able to spend my stay comfortably.
初日の授業、6時間が終わりました。小さな部屋でのマンツーマン、発狂するんじゃないかと心配していましたが、大丈夫でした。
The first day of classes, 6 hours, is over. I was worried that I would go crazy, one-on-one in a small room, but I was fine.
8時から10時のJustine先生。まだ若いかな？、優しく教えてくれました。
She is Teacher Justine from 8:00-10:00. Is she still young?. She was very kind and taught me well.
10時から12時のDiana先生。マイペースでした。
She is Teacher Diana from 10:00 to 12:00. She was my pace.
13時から15時のTina先生。発音の授業なので、休み休み、雑談を交えて進めてくれました。55歳で息子1人、娘1人、孫2人。お互いに家族の写真を見せ合って、楽しかったです。
She is Teacher Tina from 1pm to 3pm. It was a pronunciation class, so she took breaks and chatted with us. She is 55 years old and has 1 son and 2 grandchildren. We enjoyed showing each other family pictures.
